Tai Chi does do a great job with helping correct what years of incorrrect posture and life have done to our, mine, bodies. As I have stated before my back is a wreck and Tai Chi has heooped a lot with the day to day pain and enabled me to get back to doing a great many things I had stopped doing because of the pain.
Why do we spend so much time correcting posture and why is the western world waking up to posture’s importance? Take any tai chi class, the good, the bad, or the ugly, and your first and continual introduction to the art has a huge focus on posture.
